Server Rules

These rules apply to every account and character on Utopia, in game and on the Discord. They exist for one reason: a server where everyone plays on equal terms. By playing you accept them, and not knowing them does not spare you the penalties.

1. Bots and third-party programs

Any program that plays for you or gives you an advantage the game does not provide is forbidden: bots, scripts, packet editors, modified clients, auto-clickers. The in-game macros are allowed.

2. Real money trading (RMT)

Selling or buying adena, items, characters or accounts for real money, or for anything outside the game, is forbidden. Anyone caught gets a permanent ban on every account involved, on both sides of the trade.

3. Bugs and exploits

If you find a bug, report it to the staff. Using it for an advantage, even once, is forbidden. Whoever reports it first without using it may be rewarded.

4. Scams

Deceiving other players is forbidden: shops with misleading prices or items, trades not honoured, fake staff announcements, account theft. In serious cases the staff may return what was taken.

5. Behaviour

No insults, threats, discrimination, harassment, spam or advertising of other servers, in game or on the Discord. Offensive character and clan names, or names that imitate the staff, are changed or banned.

6. Staff

No member of the staff will ever ask for your password. Impersonating the staff is forbidden. Staff decisions are to be respected: if you disagree, open a report on the Discord instead of arguing in game.

7. Accounts

Your account is personal and keeping it safe is your responsibility. If you share it, you do so at your own risk: whatever happens on the account falls on you, penalties included.

8. Penalties

Depending on how serious it is: a warning, a chat ban, jail, a temporary suspension, a permanent ban of the account or of every linked account. Repeated offences weigh more. A penalty can be appealed through [appeals channel on the Discord].

9. Changes

The rules may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version; important changes are announced on the Discord.
